Double boost for Stamford ahead of Darlington visit

Easter Sports Coaching Courses for 7 - 14 year olds at Uppingham Summer School

by John Feetham

Stamford have received a double boost ahead of tonight’s Northern Premier League visit of Darlington.

Graham Drury has signed York City’s Callum Rzonca on loan. The winger/forward has made two appearances for the League Two side this season. The 19 year old, started his career with the youth systems of Huddersfield Town and Barnsley. He started an apprenticeship with York in 2013, and signed a one-year professional contract with the club in May 2015. Rzonca made his first team debut as a 71st-minute substitute for Vadaine Oliver in York's 3–0 away defeat to Premier League team Swansea City in the League Cup second round on 25 August 2015. His second appearance was in a 3-0 win at Newport County, also as a substitute.

In addition to this signing, York have agreed to extend full back Taron Hare’s loan spell with the club until the end of the season.

Both are in tonight’s squad.
