6lb 8oz Rainbow is fish of the week at Pitsford


The best Rainbow of the week at Pitsford was a lovely 6lb 8oz specimen caught by P J North of Surrey. Local angler Terry Pancoust landed the best Brown of the week a fine 5lb 8oz specimen.

Hot weather did not put the fish off at Grafham


It has been rather a hot week at Grafham, although this didn’t seem to put off the fish or the anglers. The rod average stands at a cracking 5.56.

Details of 40th anniversary weekend


A respectable rod average of 4.21 at Rutland this week. Specimen hunter Cameron Neil of North Luffenham has been at it again upping the best brown for the season so far to 11lb 5 1/4oz.

New peg comes up trumps for Phil


On the 11th June DSJAC fished the first round SHCS at Gedney on the match lake. Since the Club last visited in 2016 the match lake has been enlarged with another island put in.

Despite the tough weather conditions we have seen a few over wintered fish caught at Grafham with good reports of Rainbows over 3lb and large brownies.
